Is-sinjal għal LONG JUMP għandu żewġ partijiet. L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal KBIR biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. L-idejn jibdew bis-swaba’ ma’ xulxin u jimxu lura minn xulxin ammont sostanzjali. L-għajnejn jitberrqu waqt li x-xufftejn jinfetħu biex jesprimu stagħġib. Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal QABEŻ biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieqaf orizzontali bil-pala ’l isfel waqt li l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ V biż-żewġt iswaba’ mgħawġin u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id togħla bil-mod ftit il-bogħod mill-id il-wieqfa u tinżel f’linja kkurvata għal fuq l-id il-wieqfa.
The sign for LONG JUMP has two parts. First, the sign for BIG is made with both hands in the shape of 5 with palms facing each other. The hands start with the fingers touching and then move a substantial distance away from each other. The eyes open wide and the lips part as in amazement. Then the sign for JUMP is made with both hands. One hand lies horizontally stationary with palm facing downwards whilst the other hand takes the shape of V with the two fingers curved and the palm facing downwards. The hand moves upwards in a curved line a fair distance from the stationary hand and lands on it.
